Technique for the realization of the DB Teck Line
In its processing is expected: the preparation of the screed or existing floor, with the sanding of the surface if necessary, the laying of a coat of insulating resin and adhesive, the reinforcement with a mesh of PVC or glass fiber reinforcement, a light dusting with fine marble grit and / or quartz to improve the adhesion of the terrace to the Venetian.
In the case of floors or screeds in sub-optimal conditions, it is preferable to perform a further smoothing with ECF epoxy screed, to improve the mechanical characteristics of the support.
The next day, the mixture is applied, consisting of a mixture of marble granules of various sizes and colours in reference to the chosen sample size, epoxy resin, formulated on a water-based basis, and a special cement binder, in the correct quantities.
The thickness of the DB Teck Line Venetian Terrace can vary from 1cm to 1.2cm, depending on the size of the marble granulate used.
After 8 days of drying, the first step is to sand with coarse grinding wheels, to putty and then to polish with fine grinding wheels and oxalic acid. This last stage of processing allows the delivery of the finished floor.
